Snow Friends Ceramic Ornaments

These cute little snow loving friends are made by casting slip clay in special molds, allowing it to dry for a few minutes before pouring the slip out before it can completely dry. Once dried they receive a bisque firing at cone 4 at around 2000 degrees F. After removing from the kiln and drying they are carefully hand painted and receive a special blackened under glaze as a highlighter, which is partially wiped clean before receiving another special clear glaze sealer.
